Cloister Inn Hotel in Prague

The Prague getaway 2012 It takes us to one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Europe, Prague. Once we got the flight that would bring us closer to the city, one of the most complex decisions It has been choosing an accommodation that met our requirements. After many laps, we finally opted for the Cloister Inn Hotel

Prague It is, in addition to the capital of the Czech Republic and the Bohemia region, one of the most important capitals of Europe since the 19th century. Its multitude of bridges over the Vltava River, its Castle and its Cultural Heritage, especially its old city, makes it an essential place to spend a few days for any traveler.

his Location, the main decision factor for us in a getaway like this, is privileged and unbeatable. We are less than 100 meters from the National Theater, 250 meters from the Charles Bridge, 300 meters from the Old Town Square, 350 meters from the Jewish Quarter and 400 meters from Wenceslas Square. Better impossible.

We are facing a correct 3-star hotel, newly renovated in 2009, which offers 75 rooms distributed over 5 floors, lobby and parking on demand, airport pick-up service, night security service, air conditioning,…

The roomsIt also offers a minibar, television, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, safe and more amenities. According to the travelers that have passed are basic rooms, but with very good customer service and welcoming.

Of course, if we talk about cleaning, there is no complaint about it in the opinions found on the network.

It has WIFI in the rest of common rooms, 24-hour reception, free coffee and tea and a large breakfast (which is included in the previous price)

Already back, we perform our usual "GUIDED VISIT" of the accommodation With all the details and impressions.

Arriving at the hotel has no major complications. As we explained the DAY 1 of the getawayIn addition to the hotel shuttle service (550 CZK or 22 EUROS) there are many buses that leave you at the different metro line stations to reach the accommodation. In our case we would have to take the BUS 100 to the Zli? Ín station of the subway line B (the journey takes 18 minutes) and then take the yellow line or B to Narodni Trida. In 5 minutes from the latter we would be in the lobby of a hotel, whose Location It is perfect for walking around the city, and it is located on a street full of restaurants and cafes, as seen from the window of the room.

The lobby is a cozy room where people take the opportunity to warm up and rest for a long time. For this it has 2 computers connected to the internet for free, a machine for different coffees also free (or also to prepare a tea), a small library and several sofas and armchairs to sit. There is usually a great atmosphere too. You can also print (and you are not charged for it if there are not many sheets, for example, boarding cards for the return plane)

Already going up at rooms, we find a large bedroom divided into two parts, one for a large bed and one for a sofa, a small desk, a closet and the television.

The stoves are turned off when they arrive, but they can be put to the taste that one wants (we butt and it showed). It also has a safe, more optional blankets, well located points of light, numerous plugs and a small trunk.

The cleaning of both rooms is total, no complaints about it.

Access to bath It is also done from the main hall. It is not very big, but enough to accommodate the indispensable. It has no shower gels but some dispensers that do this function. It also has a hair dryer, another small heated towel rail and enough towels to cover all the needs of two people.

He breakfast, which we had included, is prepared on the 4th floor in a very large room (and high) and is buffet style. Although it has juice, coffee, tea, chocolates, pastries and toasts, in addition to some cold cuts and fruit, it has hardly any variety and we were slightly disappointed.

Of the other services, it should be noted that the WIFI does not work well in any of the floors (including the Lobby) despite having several connections, the attention by all the service is EXCELLENT and the SECURITY absolute, with a curious system to control people who have a chip incorporated in the key to access the elevator door.

The price in any other season is around € 65-70. !! Issue !! We are at Christmas and, specifically, on New Year's Eve, one of the algid moments of the city of Prague, so the price has been located in € 105 per night and roomCheck availability and prices here for the Cloister Inn Hotel

The we would recommend? If we put aside the importance of breakfast and WIFI, its location, the room and the excellent service make us believe that YES It is an interesting alternative for any traveler who goes through Prague. That is why it is recommended by CHAVETAS.ES
